Fire renovations
Hunnewell homes has over 9 years in the insurance restoration industry and will work directly with a homeowner's insurance company to restore their house following a fire, flood, sewer backup or other loss.  Here are some recent before and after photos from a home renovation after a fire. Hip to gable conversion
These photos show what a typical hip to gable conversion looks like from the outside. We reduce the cost of adding a gable by installing the gable a couple of feet from the roof edge. By doing this, the soffit and hip ridges are left in place, reducing labor and material costs significantly.

HVAC installation
We are able to utilize existing HVAC equipment or add new equipment as the job warrants. This photos shows the installation of a Carrier high efficiency heat pump in an existing closet to service the converted attic space.

Finished attic space
The attic space was being underutilized for storage. After several meetings with the homeowner, a design was developed that made this storage space into a kids' paradise! We reinforced the floor with TGIs for strength, replaced one side of the hip roof with a gable and added a window for natural light.

Tree House
Yes, we can and will do just about anything! This particular client had started to build a "Swiss Family Robinson" style tree fort complex for his children with three different tree houses almost 20 feet off of the ground with connecting bridges. The posts were sunk into the ground, the floors framed and some walls put up by the homeowner. After sitting idle for almost a year he called us for help. We were able to help them realize their dream while also suggesting several safety improvements to their original design.
